Basic information

The 4th Go New England Open will take place over Labor Day weekend, Friday evening Aug 29 through Sunday Aug 31, 2025.

This event is supported by the new AGA "catchment" area initiative, and all 6 New England states are pooling our catchment funds to provide this special 2-day tournament.

Last year we have 14 players 5d+, for a total of 85 dan.
This year, Michael Chen (1p) will be a player as well as having a special event on Friday evening.

Rules

We will use AGA Rules.
Time control will be Fischer 40min + 15sec/move.
